Food and Beverage Supervisor

A Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees a team of staff during a shift at a hospitality venue. You might work in a restaurant, hotel, casino or other hospitality location. Food and Beverage Supervisors ensure the venue is operating effectively and make sure patrons have everything they need. You’ll speak with customers to make reservations or take food and drink orders and you may have to deal with any issues that come up during your shift.

Food and Beverage Supervisors should have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate well with staff and patrons. Customer service skills are essential and you’ll need to be able to keep up with the demands of a busy venue. Food and Beverage Supervisors may have to work irregular hours such as nights, weekends and holidays.
