Diploma of Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services is ideal for students currently working or seeking to work in supervisory or management roles in community services.
The Diploma will develop your skills in providing leadership and guidance in taking responsibility for the effective functioning, viability and performance of the team and its workplace outcomes.
The Diploma of Community Services is delivered using AMA Training Services’ unique Assisted Study Program (ASP). The Assisted Study Program ensures that you are given every opportunity to succeed and develop yourself as a manager, even if you haven’t studied in a while.
The Assisted Study Program strikes a balance between equipping you with the skills you need to complete your studies and maintaining your work/life balance.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Have completed their education to a level which is equivalent to an Australian Senior High School year 12 or completed AQF Certificate IV in Community Services
Have suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills
Be capable of completing 200 hours of work placement in a suitable health facility (placement to be sourced by student) if not already working in the field.
Have sound computer skills
Have access to a laptop and internet to complete online course
Have a valid Police Check (or be prepared to obtain this prior to work placement)
Have a valid Working with Childrens Check or be prepared to obtain this prior to work placement)
Have the required immunisations, including COVID-19 vaccination, as required to attend work placement.
