Certificate II in Hospitality
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed to suit workplace-based trainees who are employed in a hospitality service role within a hospitality business. It is a comprehensive course designed to give participants entering the hospitality industry the necessary skills to perform the job role of a hospitality assistant.
The qualification provides a pathway to work in many hospitality industry sectors and is suitable for a diverse range of employers including restaurants, food service businesses and hotel and accommodation Organisations.
This qualification is targeted towards (but not exclusive to) School Based Trainees, who are employed in a hospitality business part-time, while also continuing their school education. Typical School Based Trainees will work between 7.5 and 20 hours per week as part of their employment arrangements.
