Pathology Collector

A Pathology Collector takes specimens from patients so they can be tested at a laboratory. You might collect bodily fluids such as blood, saliva or urine or collect various types of body tissue. Pathology Collectors take samples, store specimens appropriately and get them ready for transport to a testing facility. You’ll ensure all paperwork is completed and specimens are labelled accurately.

Pathology Collectors should be able to follow instructions and complete their duties using correct procedures. It’s important that you are organised and can handle a range of administrative tasks. Pathology Collectors should have good people skills and be able to work as part of a team.
