Drilling Engineer

A Drilling Engineer designs and implements drilling plans for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs. You may work on-site at drilling rigs or in an office setting, depending on the project stage. Drilling Engineers are responsible for selecting appropriate drilling techniques, ensuring safety measures, and optimising drilling performance. You’ll collaborate with geologists and other engineers to assess site conditions and adapt drilling strategies as required.
