Tourism Consultant

Tourism Consultants are similar to travel agents and arrange flights, accommodation, and travel bookings for their clients. They provide information on tourist destinations and often work for corporate clients booking groups and key personnel into events, tradeshows, and conferences.

As a travel consultant your days will be super-busy, talking to clients on the phone, answering emails, using online booking systems, and negotiating prices and commissions. You could be booking a flight for a client, advising a client on a cancellation or price change, networking at a showcasing event for tourist operators, or preparing an itinerary for a corporate client.
