Student Counsellor

Student Counsellors support students as they navigate the school, college, or higher education system. They conduct counselling interviews with students and help them work through learning difficulties, bullying, financial and family problems.

As a Student Counsellor you could be employed by a school, university, community college or community service organisation, but you might also find employment with a government department. To be successful in this career you’ll need highly developed interpersonal skills and be adept at administration and paperwork.
