While studying for his PhD in History at Latrobe University, Jim launched a full-time mowing business. He grew this business from employing subcontractors to franchising it in 1989; today Jim’s Mowing is Australia’s largest franchise chain and the most renowned lawn mowing business in the world with the Jim’s Group now having more than 50 different Divisions operating in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom.
We provide Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Certificate courses to support and develop the skills of not Jim’s Group franchisees and external domestic learners. Through our training division, we aim to help fill the skills gap across several trades industries and to also provide essential safety training for every trades industry.
Jim’s Training is conducted in appealing facilities that were formerly part of Swinburn University and which are fit-for-purpose. Jim’s Training maintains RTO best practice compliance in all areas. Our educators offering face-to-face contact also support flexible online training.
