However, at no time will participants come in contact with actual asbestos of any form during training. This asbestos removal training is a simulation that uses inert materials.

CoR was introduced into the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) to address Chain of Responsibility duties, impacting every aspect of the heavy vehicle transport supply chain. Under CoR, if you are named as a party in the chain of responsibility and have (or have the potential to have) control or influence over any transport activities, you have a primary duty to ensure compliance with the HVNL.
This course is applicable to personnel in supervisory roles or those who administrate workplace policies and procedures related to CoR obligations, as well as individuals responsible for controlling or influencing others during the movement of goods on heavy vehicles from point A to B.
This program includes the nationally recognised outcome for CoR Level 1 – TLIF0009 Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility).

Before commencing any course, ASTRA recommends you consult your doctor to determine any limitations with conducting practical demonstrations if applicable. There may be multiple tasks that require manual handling of materials and equipment.
