If you’re a “people person” with a natural flair for dealing with customers and enjoy the cut and thrust of working in busy restaurants or cafés, tropical resorts, bars, nightclubs, hotels or even on an airliner or cruise ship, then a course in hospitality may be ideal for you. Gaining skills in customer service, effective teamwork, hygiene and food safety could give you a great start in this career. Depending on your choice of elective units, you will also learn about accommodation services, commercial cookery and catering, food and beverage, gaming and tourism sales and operations.
