The hospitality industry is fast-paced and people who work in the sector also have a reputation for having a range of highly developed employability skills.
Our Certificate III in Hospitality traineeship training will provide you with specialised training for you and your workplace, and prepare you for a range of roles in restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops, and for specialisation in accommodation services, food and beverage and gaming.
Develop skills in hospitality service, sales or operational skills and gain sound knowledge of industry operations. You will learn multiskilling, techniques in using discretion and judgement, and will work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
Students must be employed and a training contract between the employer and the trainee is required prior to enrolment. Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, applicants must have a traineeship agreement in place with an employer.
Please note: students will be required to undertake manual handling, including heavy lifting of up to 8kg, use kitchen tools and utensils and be able to stand for a minimum of 4 hour blocks
