Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (History)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe honours program in History aims to hone students' research and communication skills; their ability to work independently and in collaboration with an advisor and to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the normative ethical standards of the discipline of history in their research and reporting practices. Participating in the program will support graduates to develop excellent and broad-ranging historical knowledge; grasp differing perspectives on historical events and agents and gain knowledge of the distinctive nature of the discipline including its relationships to other disciplines and its role in the community.

Entry into one-year Honours is highly competitive. If you have demonstrated academic excellence (a Grade Point Average of 5.25 or above) during your bachelor degree you are invited to apply for Honours.
English language requirements
- IELTS (Academic): 6.0 Overall with 6.0 Speaking, 6.0 Writing
- TOEFL (Internet): 72 Total score with 18 Speaking, 21 Writing
- Pearson (PTE Academic): 50 Overall with 50 Writing, 50 Speaking
- Cambridge C1 Advanced: 169 Overall with 169 Writing, 169 Speaking
