Travel Agent

A Travel Agent organises travel arrangements on behalf of clients. You’ll determine their needs and provide information on available services. Travel Agents plan itineraries and schedules, make bookings and reservations and liaise with tourism providers to make sure their clients are catered for. You might investigate other issues such as travel insurance or vaccination requirements.

Travel Agents must be passionate about travel and willing to share their knowledge of travel destinations with their clients. It’s important you have strong communication skills and are good at customer service. Travel Agents must be organised and be able to multitask. You should be able to liaise with clients and service providers from a range of backgrounds.
