Forensic Psychologist

A Forensic Psychologist applies psychological principles within the legal and criminal justice systems to understand criminal behaviour and support legal proceedings. Their duties often include conducting assessments of offenders to evaluate mental health issues, risk factors, and rehabilitation potential, as well as providing expert testimony in court regarding psychological findings.

Forensic Psychologists may also work with law enforcement to develop profiles of suspects, conduct research on criminal behaviour, and collaborate with legal professionals to inform case management.
