Food Tester

A Food Tester carries out tests on food products to make sure they meet safety and quality standards. You’ll test food samples in a laboratory to check for qualities such as levels of additives, salt content or nutrient value. Food Testers present their findings to ensure food products meet compliance issues.

Food Testers should be able to perform precise tests and measurements and be accurate in their collection of data. You’ll need excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills. Food Testers should be able to communicate their findings and may work as part of a larger testing team.
