You might make decisions about building materials and structural methods and make sure work is compliant with relevant regulations. Development Engineers monitor projects during construction and approve any changes that are required.

Development Engineers should have strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving abilities. You’ll need to have good attention to detail and be able to follow correct procedures. Development Engineers need to be good communicators and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders during a project.
