Child Safety Officer

Child Safety Officers identify children at risk and ensure they are protected in accordance with the law. They carrying out assessments, investigations, case management and monitoring of kids in care.

As a Child Safety Officer you’ll need highly advanced interpersonal skills, including conflict management and negotiation. You’ll be meeting kids and families in their homes and often making complex decisions that will affect the long term health, safety and wellbeing of a child and their siblings.
