Your Certificate of Registration, aka Assistant Agent’s Licence, is a 4 year permit, but cannot be renewed. So to ensure you can continue in the industry, and to be compliant to work each year, Assistant Agents must complete at least 3 units of competency towards their Class 2 Licence every year. At the end of the 4 years, you must have successfully obtained your CertIV, otherwise you’ll need to wait 12 months before re-applying to work in the industry.
This qualification reflects the role of real estate professionals who apply knowledge of real estate practice, legal agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to conduct real estate functions.
It applies to people working in both residential and commercial property, including business broking, and stock and station transactions.
Learn moreTo act as licensee in charge, manage, run and or own an agency, you must have your Class 1 Agent’s License. To apply for this, you must have successfully completed the Diploma of Property (Agency Management) CPP51122.
This qualification reflects the role of property services principals who apply knowledge of property agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to establish and control property services functions. It applies to residential or commercial practice in real estate sales, real estate property management, strata management, business broking, stock and station, or auctioneering.
REAL+ Education offers the below units that you can work through at your own pace, as quickly or as deliberately as you like. We also work with agents to provide Recognition of Prior Learning for those who have been working in the industry with an unrestricted Class 2 licence for at least 24 months.
