Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Your Certificate of Registration, aka Assistant Agent’s Licence, is a 4 year permit, but cannot be renewed. So to ensure you can continue in the industry, and to be compliant to work each year, Assistant Agents must complete at least 3 units of competency towards their Class 2 Licence every year. At the end of the 4 years, you must have successfully obtained your CertIV, otherwise you’ll need to wait 12 months before re-applying to work in the industry.
This qualification reflects the role of real estate professionals who apply knowledge of real estate practice, legal agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to conduct real estate functions.
It applies to people working in both residential and commercial property, including business broking, and stock and station transactions.
