Learn moreThis course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to operate elevating work platforms which are not classified as requiring a high risk work (HRW) licence.
The unit RIIHAN301E covers the operation of a range of elevating work platforms under 11m. Our course will provide participants with skills and knowledge to operate elevating work platforms that are transferable to any EWP under 11m. The specific plant used in our training courses are boom lift (BL) and scissor lift (SL). All Australian work sites have an obligation to induct new workers on the plant they are required to use. However, we do recommend that workers check with their employer(s) as to the applicability of any training related to on-site plant and equipment, as well as any site-specific training requirements.
Learn moreOur gas testing training course is designed for workers who may need to undertake monitoring of potentially hazardous atmospheres in the workplace.
This course is taught by highly experienced Emergency Services instructors who have a strong background in HAZMAT response. This training course will teach trainees:
- When gas testing is required
- How to conduct gas testing
- How to determine if the atmosphere is safe to work in.
This nationally recognised course equips participants with the foundational skills to become a height safety equipment inspector. This program will provide you with the training and certification required to inspect height safety equipment at a basic level.
It is important to recognise that to perform in the role of a height safety equipment inspector, in addition to this training, real-world industry experience in working with height safety equipment is required. This course is not a ‘manufacturer approved’ course of training to inspect specific products.
Learn moreThis course has been designed for supervisors and managers wanting to learn more about what work health and safety means in the workplace. The course aims to provide familiarisation with managing work health and safety requirements in line with legislative requirements. Pinnacle Safety and Training’s EWP course covers the functions required to operate boom-type elevating work platforms with a boom length of 11 metres or more.
Learn moreTraining can be conducted at your work site or off-site at any of our purpose-built training facility. Work at heights training is focused on fall prevention rather than fall arrest. It is designed to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to safely work in any height situation, primarily being aimed at general construction, maintenance, mining, large factories or other work situations where work is conducted anywhere where a fall from one level to another is possible.
Pinnacle Safety and Training recognises that whilst there is a standard set of learning outcomes for this course, the context and environment in which the learning is applied is varied. We will always customise the course to suit your unique workplace requirements. Training covers risk assessment, selection and correct use of equipment, selection of anchors, fall restraint, work positioning and fall arrest systems (including practical setup and use).
