Students will carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills.

They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.

Students of this qualification reflect the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Target students will display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing, and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others.

They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

Target students may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse, and synthesise information from a variety of sources

The Certificate II in Security Operations is the basic entry level course required in order to work in the security industry. For those seeking work in the Security Industry it is a Western Australian police requirement to obtain a security license. The course duration is 120 hours stipulated by Western Australia Police.

The course includes Security, Crowd Controller, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Provide First Aid.

The Certificate IV in Security Risk Management is for experienced security individuals who are looking to expand their knowledge within the security industry.

The course has a good mixture of security related risk assessments and business management skills.

The main key units of this qualification relate to the ability to manage a security business, identify and assess security of assets, assess threats, assess risks and advise on security needs.

This qualification is the NEW entry requirement in order to work Security at the Domestic and International Airport.

The online component needs to be completed first 8 Units of competency will be delivered online through our training portal. On completion of the online training, you will then be required to attend five consecutive working days.

The Certificate III in Security Operations is designed to put you above the rest. This course looks at the security industry from a Supervisor’s point of view and is a pre-requisite for some security companies who are looking for an individual with a certain level of competency.

The Certificate III in Security Operations can also help you pursue a career as a Cash In Transit Officer or a Body Guard. This is a great course if you are currently working in the Security field, looking to upgrade your role to Supervisor.

In January of 2017 the Liquor Control Regulations 1989 an amendment was made that requires all Crowd Controllers be trained in the responsible service of alcohol.

Any person who is involved in the sale, supply or promotion of alcohol must have completed responsible service of alcohol course.

The WA White Card course is a mandatory requirement for anyone who wants to work in the construction industry
