It covers skills like installing, testing and fixing electrical equipment. After completing it, individuals can apply for an 'Unrestricted Electrician's license' from the Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC) or its successor. A license is required for working on electrical installations with voltages higher than 50 V AC or 120 V DC.
