Hydraulic Designer

A Hydraulic Designer creates plans for plumbing systems used in a range of settings. You might work on domestic projects or specialise in commercial or industrial work. Hydraulic Designers might develop systems for rainwater distribution or waste treatment or you might specialise in solar and non-solar heated water systems or gas reticulation. You might also work on stormwater and roof drainage systems.

Hydraulic Designers should have strong analytical skills and be able to come up with solutions to a range of plumbing problems. You’ll need to be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues and clients. Hydraulic Designers should be organised and able to work on multiple projects at once.
