The course can be contextualised to suit the actual scenarios relevant to your organisations confined space operations. This course is designed to train participants how to identify confined space hazards, how to work safely within confined spaces according to an issued permit and how to operate various confined space safety equipment.
This course is not suitable for Standby persons or Observers as it is a generic course designed to cover the knowledge and skills required for entering and working in a confined space only which includes hazard identification and their typical control measures, entry permit roles and responsibilities and when it is appropriate for a person to enter and leave a confined space. Acting as a confined space standby person or observer requires additional knowledge and skills as described in the WHS Regulations 2017.

Face to face theory delivery including practical exercises and workplace inspections to view workstation setup and manual handling risks that are specific to the participant’s workplaces.
