The unit covers the basic procedures to evacuate a workplace and demonstrate the use of a portable fire extinguisher, a fire hose reel and a fire blanket.

This course is appropriate for anyone in the workplace who may be required to follow evacuation procedures, operate firefighting equipment, including fire wardens, plant and machine operators, supervisors and WHS Committee members.
