Academic Entry Requirements
Master of Business Administration Applicants are required to have:
- an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) in a business discipline; OR
- an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) in ANY discipline and relevant work experience in a role that requires some supervisory and/or discretionary decision making responsibility.
Applicants without a bachelor degree qualification may be admitted to either the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or (for international students requiring an Australian student visa) the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration on the basis of a combination of:
- prior post secondary study and/or professional attainment; AND
- significant relevant work experience
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate/Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master Business Administration and receive credit for applicable subjects.
English language requirements
You can normally meet the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for entry to most Charles Sturt University courses by doing one of the following:
- providing evidence of having completed a sufficient standard of study in English
- for undergraduate courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.0
- no individual score below 5.5
- for postgraduate coursework courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.0
- no individual score below 6.0
- for higher degree by research courses have obtained at Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.5
- no individual score below 6.0
- obtaining a qualification deemed to be equivalent to Academic IELTS (and its minimum scores) by Charles Sturt.
