Food Safety Supervision Skill Set

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Get a handle on food safety planning and critical control points. Learn how to identify hazards, make corrective actions and implement operational policies and procedures. People at many levels use these skills in the workplace during the course of their daily activities, including cooks, chefs, caterers, kitchen stewards, kitchen hands, bar, food and beverage attendants and sometimes room attendants and front office staff. Upon the successful completion of this course students will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment – SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervision Skill Set.

About Queensland College of Wine Tourism

The Queensland College of Wine Tourism is a joint venture between the University of Southern Queensland and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training. It opened in April 2007.
