Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)?The CHC53315 Diploma of Mental Health is a course that will give you the anticipated qualification to work with clients who suffer from mental health issues and provide them support. It will help develop the skills and knowledge in relation to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing advanced support and care for people with mental illness and disabilities. This also ensures that client services are based on individual case management and intervention.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to explore roles such as support worker or mental health worker in the community services field. While learning theory, you will also gain on the job practical experience with work placement component that is an integral part of this course.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
The minimum age for eligible applicants is 18 years. Applicants must have successfully completed the equivalent of Year 11 according to the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Proficiency in English is required to meet Industry standards.
Although LLN test is not an entry requirement, students are asked to undertake the same so appropriate academic support can be ensured throughout the course of study.

About ALACC Health College
The ALACC Health College, Australia (ALACC) is a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers Nationally Recognised Qualifications under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) levels. We are an aged care, nursing, community and allied health educational institution.
ALACC was founded by the Director - Dr Janet Lawrence who is well qualified and respected in her field of work in the Aged Care Industry.
