Add to your creative skills by learning to design, recommend and complete a range of complementary classic and current hair designs using hot tools.

Ideal for people entering the industry, make-up artists wanting to add to their services, apprentices, qualified hairdressers, and barbers wanting to expand their skills.

In this unit you will gain the skills and knowledge required to consult with clients and analyse hair and facial characteristics to be able to select the styling tools to style and finish hair to pre-planned designs.

This unit includes: blow drying using brushes to create curl wave or volume blow drying using brushes to straighten or smooth hair using thermal tools for curl or texture using thermal tools to straighten hair applying rollers to set hair.
