Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Working in the role of a medical practice assistant requires performing a broad range of administrative functions and identified tasks of a clinical assisting nature. Where appropriate, it requires the provision of client support and guidance in relation to identified treatment issues, as per instruction from the health care practitioner.
Over the five years to November 2020, the number of job openings for medical practice staff who may work in the medical practice assisting role is expected to be average.
