Certificate III in Business
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Business is an applied qualification. This means the student is required to clearly demonstrate practical assessment relating to most units. This either occurs in a workplace (in a paid or volunteer position) or if not available, in a simulated work environment (provided by TasTAFE).
In this course you’ll learn a range of practical skills including designing, writing and producing simple business documents, personal wellbeing and work priorities, workplace communication, critical thinking and inclusive work practices. This nationally-recognised qualification is ideal if you are looking to develop a wide-range of entry-level skills for working in a modern office environment. TasTAFE is a not-for-profit government business that operates under the TasTAFE (Skills and Training Business) Act 2021.
It is the largest public provider of vocational education and training in Tasmania and is governed by a Board consisting of up to seven members appointed by the Minister for Skills, Training and Workforce Growth.
