Wildlife Rehabilitator

A Wildlife Rehabilitator cares for injured, sick, or orphaned wildlife with the aim of releasing them back into their natural habitats. You might work in wildlife sanctuaries, animal hospitals, or rescue centres. Wildlife Rehabilitators focus on providing medical care, nutrition, and rehabilitation to various species. You’ll prepare treatment plans, monitor animal progress, and ensure they regain their health and survival skills.

Wildlife Rehabilitators play an essential role in conservation efforts. You’ll need to be compassionate and patient, with strong problem-solving skills. You’ll collaborate with veterinarians, volunteers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care. Effective communication skills are crucial for educating the public and coordinating with conservation organisations.
