A Veterinary Technician assists veterinarians in the care and treatment of animals. You might work in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, or research facilities. Veterinary Technicians perform a range of duties, including administering medications, preparing animals for surgery, and conducting routine tests. You’ll also provide support during procedures and educate pet owners on animal care.

Veterinary Technicians play a vital role in animal healthcare. You’ll need to be compassionate and attentive, with a strong understanding of animal behaviour and medical procedures. You’ll work closely with veterinarians and other team members to ensure animals receive the best possible care and attention.
