Diploma of Animal Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is aimed at those seeking to build on their qualifications and experience in animal technology functions and gain a senior or managerial level role involving biomedical research or production environment. It is ideally suited to people who wish to gain knowledge and theory in substantial depth. It is highly recommended that while undertaking this qualification, the learner should have access to an animal technology workplace through either paid employment or substantial periods of work placement or experience.
Upon successful completion of this course students may gain employment as an animal technology manager, facility manager, senior animal technologist, animal house manager, supervising animal technician or gain credit towards graduate level study.
