Senior Curator

Senior Curators research, develop, and curate exhibitions and displays at large art galleries and museums. They are confident leaders and communicators and have the ability to supervise a team of gallery curators and technicians.

As a Senior Curator you could be representing the gallery at an international event, developing a relationship with a significant overseas gallery, reviewing recommended collection pieces from a junior curator, negotiating the gifting of an important art piece from a private collector, developing an exhibition idea with the gallery team, or editing a piece of academic writing for submission to an international art journal.
