Ministerial Advisor

A Ministerial Advisor provides strategic advice and support to government ministers on policy, legislative, and political matters. You might work in government departments or directly within a minister's office. Ministerial Advisors research and analyse policy issues, prepare briefing materials, and develop recommendations to inform decision-making. You’ll draft speeches, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the minister is well-prepared for parliamentary duties.

Ministerial Advisors play a critical role in shaping public policy and government actions. You’ll need to be analytical and politically astute, with strong communication and organisational skills. You’ll liaise with government officials, agencies, and the public to ensure that the minister's objectives are effectively achieved and communicated.
