How do I become an IVF Specialist?

- Passing the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT).
- Completing a Doctor of Medicine (MD).
- Working as an intern at a hospital for at least one year.
- Obtaining general medical registration through the Medical Board of Australia.
Once you are a registered MD you will need post-graduate qualifications in obstetrics and reproductive medicine. The minimum standard in Australia is the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI).
