Correctional Case Manager

A Correctional Case Manager works with individual inmates in a prison or correctional facility. You might arrange rehabilitation activities or training for offenders or you might attend to other needs such as counselling or health needs. Correctional Case Managers might also work with offenders outside of a correctional facility during work release or court appearances.

Correctional Case Managers should be flexible and able to meet the needs of a range of inmates. It’s important that you understand the criminal justice system and the services available to support offenders. Correctional Case Managers should have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate well. You’ll need to be able to follow correct procedures during your duties.
