Casting Director

A Casting Director selects and auditions actors for roles in film, television, theatre, or commercials. You might work closely with directors, producers, and agents to find the right talent for each project. Casting Directors focus on understanding the director's vision and ensuring the selected actors have the skills and presence to bring the characters to life. You’ll manage the audition process, review headshots and portfolios, and negotiate contracts with actors and their agents.

Casting Directors play a crucial role in shaping the final production. You’ll need to have a keen eye for talent, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with industry professionals. You’ll liaise with creative teams to ensure the cast meets the project's artistic and logistical needs.
