About Upskills QLD
RTO code: 40840
Upskills QLD has been training people in high-risk related courses focused initially on traffic management and control all over QLD, for more than 12 years from the NSW border, up to Thursday Island and out to western QLD. Formerly known as Traffic Management People (TMP), in 2021 the founder, industry expert, Brian Abrahamson, sold TMP to focus on expansion of QLD’s leading traffic training business with one goal in mind – build the nation’s best traffic training company, with a difference. Upskills QLD has more recently extended its core service offering to include other High-Risk courses like Working at Heights and Confined Spaces, as well as First Aid.
In an industry where many students only receive the bare minimum of training required, an Upskills trained professional receives complete training in both theory and practical delivered by the industry’s most experienced trainers and mentors. This enables them to be fully qualified in the shortest timeframes in the industry, ready to deploy immediately. There is no doubt an Upskilled trained professional will have received the highest quality and safety assured traffic training in the industry.
Everyday our communities rely on the people we train in these high risk jobs to keep them and our infrastructure safe. At Upskills QLD, we don’t take this responsibility lightly and ensure the people we train receive the highest quality and safety assured training available. Our training is unique, tailored to the individual student, so every one of them leaves with the confidence and skills they need to perform at their very best.
