The First Aid (Level 2) course focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to provide a first aid response to a casualty in a workplace environment. The First Aid course includes CPR (HLTAID009 provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training. The first aid course provides students with the skills and knowledge to recognise, respond to and manage an emergency medical situation.
Recommended for First Aid Officers responsible for the provision of First Aid in the workplace, employees working in high risk industries such as manufacturing, construction or childcare, volunteers involved with sporting events, children or the elderly. Safety Systems Pty Ltd recommends in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council, CPR retraining every year and First Aid retraining every 3 years.

Learn moreThis Traffic Controller course focuses on the setup of traffic management signs and devices, and the responsibilities of safely controlling traffic using a Stop/Slow Bat to ensure the safety of site workers and the general public. This will enable the participant to setup signs and devices according to Traffic Management plans and direct traffic using a Stop/Slow bat.
To work as traffic controller, the applicant should also have a construction induction (white card).
Recommended for workers in operational roles, at work sites within the civil construction and road works areas. Suitable for personnel involved in the implementation of any traffic management system at a work site, on or adjacent a trafficked road such as a front line manager, work supervisor or road workers.
Learn moreFor public students we offer a cluster Fire Course which includes; Chief Fire Warden, Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher Training. The clustered Fire Warden Course provides participants with an understanding of workplace emergency response procedures and the communication systems to support emergency response procedures. This unit has been developed to cover the broad range of emergencies and workplaces as considered in Australian Standard 3745-2010.
The course will allow the participant to understand confining small workplace emergencies and the competency required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency incident area.
This course is recommended for all nominated evacuation staff, chief fire wardens, fire wardens, supervisors and managers. The course is also be recommended to anyone who may be required to use a fire extinguisher at home or in the workplace.

This course is a regulatory requirement for any person performing construction work.
