This training aims to provide persons with the skills and knowledge required to take the next step in their career. It helps improve their communication, problem solving and time management skills, and become more efficient in their job role. They will gain a better understanding of chain of responsibility, fatigue management and customer service. Training will be delivered using a Training Plan which outlines expected start and finish times and delivery modes, training will have a mixture of on the job training and face to face training with an experienced Trainer and Assessor.

This training aims to provide persons with the extra skills and knowledge required to advance in their career.

This qualification reflects the role of the skilled operator working with civil construction plant, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

The training could assist those working as backhoe operators/ bulldozer operators/ dozer operators / earthmoving plant operators/ excavator operators/ front-end loader operators/ grader operators/ haul truck operators and others to move into a more senior role or advance beyond those presently holding similar qualifications and become more skilled and proficient in their chosen field.

Our three-day training course is for people who have minimal or no excavator operating experience. It’s an intensive‚ hands-on training course, with the majority of the time spent operating the equipment. A strong theoretical component is also included that focuses on safe operating procedures.

This course provides building and construction industry workers with an introductory understanding and knowledge needed to commence or continue work in the building and construction industry.

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a reach stacker with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) exceeding 3 tonnes safely, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities.

This unit applies to the activities of a person operating a reach stacker greater than 3 tonnes capacity that incorporates an attachment for lifting, moving and travelling with a shipping container (not including a shore-based container handling gantry crane).

This 2-day course is for people who have some experience of operating a reach stacker. It also contains a strong theoretical and calculations component that focus on safe operating procedures.

It’s an intensive, hands-on training course, with the majority of the time spent operating the equipment. The Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence focuses on the Australian Code for the transport of Dangerous Goods Code by Road & Rail seventh edition (ADG7).

It covers all aspects of the Code, providing comprehensive information about the state and territory regulatory requirements, and includes the major changes from ADG6. The responsibilities of all parties in the transport chain are included.

It is customised specifically to meet the needs and interests of the participants and is delivered in a manner that ensures high levels of interest and learning retention.

Course content includes identification and handling, safety precautions and equipment, and compliance with the statutory requirements.

Prime mover with a single semi-trailer and a dolly (or an unladen converter dolly); or a rigid motor vehicle towing a trailer with a GVM greater than 9 tonnes and an unladen converter dolly.

A motor vehicle (other than a motorcycle) including an articulated bus but not any other type of articulated vehicle that has 3 or more axles and a GVM greater than 8 tonnes. Able to tow a trailer of no more than 9 tonnes GVM.

A motor vehicle (other than a motorcycle) with a GVM greater than 8 tonnes and no more than 2 axles. Able to tow a trailer of no more than 9 tonnes GVM.

It’s an intensive, hands-on training course, with the majority of the time spent loading and unloading plant onto a truck or float. A strong theoretical component also focuses on safe operating procedures.

Our one day training course is for people who need the skills and qualification to work safely at heights. It’s an intensive‚ hands-on training course, with a strong theoretical component and practical tasks that focus on safe operating procedures.

A motor vehicle with a GVM of 8 tonnes or less but greater than 4.5 tonnes, or has a GVM of 8 tonnes or less and seats more than 12 adults (including the driver). Able to tow a trailer of no more than 9 tonnes GVM.
