GlobalNet ICT is a registered training organisation (called the GlobalNet Academy) and a consultancy organisation. GlobalNet ICT is responsible for the consultancy aspect of the business. GlobalNet helps individuals and businesses maximise their investment in information technology. Much of what we do involves supporting clients solve strategic and operational technology issues or helping them find efficiencies. We provide innovative, flexible and customised services.
The GlobalNet Academy is the training arm of GlobalNet ICT. As a registered training organisation, it is responsible for the running of Nationally Recognised qualifications that it has on its scope of registration. GlobalNet Academy’s scope of registration can be found on the government’s official nationally recognised training website at training.gov.au
The qualifications that we have on scope include the AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture, the AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture. We also are able to deliver the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

This module sets the scene. We help participants identify the foundational expectations and requirements of being an effective leader and manager. Participants will learn how to plan, execute and achieve personal and team goals as well as appreciate the impact effective leadership has on others. We discuss time management and how planning and achieving personal and business goals can make a very real difference in the workplace.

Diploma level leaders need to be undertaking activities that require them to work unsupervised, work within a team, manage or supervise the work of others and hold them accountable.
Amongst other things, their responsibilities would include developing themselves and others professionally, resolving problems in their team (or escalating issues they can’t resolve), communicating and liaising important information between staff and more senior management, tracking and reporting performance, and providing effective leadership to those that report to them.
In addition, Diploma level leaders are ideally starting to have some input into policies and procedures, although this is not critical to them achieving the qualification.
