Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy is a Nationally Recognised Unit and deals with the provision of Advanced First Aid resuscitation techniques, life support, and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation and oxygen therapy in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to persons who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation or oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.
