In this course you will focus on building highly sought after skills in enterprise systems solutions including emerging technologies, big data and business intelligence to enhance management and organisational performance.
You will then be able to tailor your studies even further to suit your career gaols with a choice of seven minors including a unique opportunity to study a unit sequence allowing you to graduate with both a Master of Information Systems and Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
Accredited by the Australian Computer Society, this highly practical and industry-relevant degree will provide you with leading-edge knowledge and skills and features the option to complete a 12-week internship or capstone project.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A completed Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Bachelor degree, or higher equivalent qualification

English Language Proficiency Requirements:
Applicants are required to provide evidence of completion of:
- a secondary qualification (Year 11 or 12, or equivalent), or
- An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) diploma level qualification; or
- Bachelor level qualification study for a period of at least 2 years full time with a minimum overall GPA 4.0
Completed within Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, Ireland, or United States of America, which will meet the English proficiency.
If you do not satisfy any of the above, you will need to undertake an English language proficiency test and achieve the following scores:
- An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) overall band score of at least 6.0 with a minimum 5.5 in each subset; or
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Requires 550 or better overall and minimum TWE score of 4.5 (Paper Based Test), or 75 or better overall and no score less than 17 (Internet Bassd Test); or
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) - Requires an overall score of 54 with no sub-score less than 46; or
- An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components.
English test results remain valid for no more than two years between final examination date and the date of commencement of study, and must appear on a single result certificate.

About Central Queensland University
Originally founded in Rockhampton in 1967, as the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) Capricornia, CQUniversity Australia was granted full University status in 1992 and now has more than 30 000 students studying online and on-campus across Australia.
