Infection Control Skill Set (Food Handling)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is suitable if you are engaged in direct customer interactions in the food-handling sector, including cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs or hotels, child care centres.
The Victorian and Commonwealth Governments are funding delivery of training to help upskill workers to administer and implement infection control policies and procedures within workplaces. The short, accredited training courses (Skill Sets) will support businesses to reopen safely and continue to control the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) across Victorian businesses. The courses are not mandatory for businesses to reopen; however, employers are be encouraged to release their staff for the free training.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
You are currently employed in Victoria and you must be working in various capacities in workplaces that handle food who require the skills and knowledge to decrease the risk of and transmission of infection whilst carrying out their daily duties e.g. childcare, hospitality, healthcare sectors, etc
You have not previously completed the Infection Control Skill Set
