Australian Institute of Leadership and Safety
Diploma of Work Health and Safety
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)In recent years, there have been three major impacts on training in work health and safety (WHS) in the vocational education and training (VET) sector: legislative change, national strategy, and changes in employment opportunities and professional recognition.
This increasing recognition of, and demand for, WHS practitioners is reflected in the development of both higher education and VET WHS qualifications. The BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety is considered to be an important first step for those who wish to become certified practitioners.
