Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be eligible to undertake this study program, prospective students must have two years relevant work experience. This can include work in a law firm, public sector legal, administration roles with relevant file management.
Alternatively, students can enrol in the BSB40620 Certificate IV in Legal Services with CLET and complete the following units before progressing to the Diploma:
- BSBLEG314 Protect information in a legal services environment;
- BSBLEG423 Conduct simple legal research; and
- BSBLEG424 Support the drafting of complex legal documents.
Suggested Entry Pathways for Successful Outcomes:
You have successfully completed year 10 (only a recommendation); or have previous vocational study.
You will need access to a modern personal computer and the internet to study this course. In addition, you will need to be able to use this computer, including basic word processing, use of Microsoft Office software and electronic communication platforms and internet search engines.
