Diploma of Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Diploma of Community Services qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.
At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals.
Training Delivery
The Diploma of Community Services course is predominantly classroom based.
Students are provided with the following:
- Required course materials such as workbooks
- Access to computers and software during class
- Your student training plan
- A dedicated and qualified trainer
- Targeted assessment tools
Work Placement: 200 Hours
Schedule in each location: Malaga is a daytime course, Joondalup is an evening course.

Industry Skills Training (IST) RTO 40486 is a new and rapidly growing registered training organisation located in WA. It is a specialist registered training organisation (RTO) that has been delivering quality education by personnel that are highly skilled professionals with substantial knowledge through experience at the front line of the industry and education sectors. We deliver a growing scope of nationally recognised qualifications and training, and also provide pathways for those who are interested in furthering their studies.
