Diploma of Beauty Therapy
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Diploma of beauty therapy is designed to provide students with professional knowledge and practical skills related to beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services.
This course also includes useful skills on consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommend beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skincare and cosmetic products. It aims to prepare students for a career in the beauty industry by covering a range of topics such as skincare, makeup application, body treatments, nail care, and customer service.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have completed at least Year 12 or equivalent.
Have a valid visa to study or hold Australian citizenship, does not require a COE
Students will need to achieve at least ACSF level 3 for reading, writing, numeracy and oral communication to enter the course.
A prospective student does not need to conduct LLN test with their application if one of the following applies:
- Prospective student has completed at least 3years’ study in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland within the last 5 calendar years.
- Currently studying or has completeda Certificate III level or above in an Australian RTO or a higher education sector within the last 5 calendar years.
- Has achieved general English Intermediate level with any registered Australian education provider.

About Australian Future Wellbeing Education
AFWE strives to provide high quality professionals to the local industry, while supporting all students strongly in their career path.
